Fixing Event Viewer Error: “Faulting Module Path: C:***/***/ nvwgf2umx.dll” If you're receiving this error message, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Visit the Guru3d website and download the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU).
Download the older stable Nvidia driver 551.23 for your specific GPU model.
Extract and run DDU
Choose GPU > Nvidia on the main panel.
Click “Clean and restart.”
After restarting, run the GPU drivers you previously downloaded as admin.
When prompted, select “Clean install” for your GPU drivers.
Once the installation is complete, restart your PC.
Test BDO to ensure that the error has been resolved.
